For ponies, mares or geldings, 4 years old or over, not exceeding 133cms, suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 14th birthday on January 1st of the current year. Max height of jumps 80cms
Exhibitors please note:
- Numbers will not be sent out but can be collected in the Horse Secretary Tent on the morning of the Show.
- Horse boxes and Trailers, please follow road signs and Stewards directions on show day.
- It is a requirement for all equines to travel with their passports.
- Equine premises number must accompany all entries.
- While every effort has been made to avoid clashing, events on Show Day may cause classes to run late.
- Competitiors are asked to be on time.
- Lead Rein classes must be led by a person over 16 years of age
- Riding independently classes (child must be 5 years old)
- Inhand classes (child must be 5 years old)
- Working Hunter over fences under 300mm (child must be 6 years old)

PLEASE NOTE: Rings will begin on time. Please be on time for your classes to keep things moving. It is up to competitiors to be at the ring for the start of their classes. Rings and times are subject to change.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
- Horse riding is a dangerous sport and all competitors in ridden classes are strongly advised, for their own safety, to wear appropriate head gear which complies to up-to-date safety standards.
- Exhibitors are advised to ensure that their public liability policy covers the exhibition of livestock at Public Shows.
- On arrival at the showground the driver and one handler per vehicle will be admitted free. All other passengers must pay.
- Horse Boxes & Lorries only in Equestrian Parking Area.
Ring 3 and 4 at 9.30am.

- CORRIGAN PERPETUAL CUP to the Champion Working Hunter Pony
- O'CONNOR PERPETUAL CUP to the Best Working Hunter Pony Rider resident in Carlow Hunt District
- REMEMBERING THE FIRST TULLOW SHOW 1946 PERPETUAL CUP for the Rider Showing the most promise in the Junior Class
- Lead Rein classes must be led by a person over 16 years of age (no age limit for the child on horse's back)
- Riding independently classes (child must be 5 years old)
- Inhand classes (child must be 5 years old)
- Working Hunter over fences under 300mm (child must be 6 years old)
In all Working Hunter Classes the competitiors will jump a course of rustic fences in Ring 4 and proceed directly to the showing arena, Ring 3, to present to the judge for a formal inspection, individual show and salute.
No entries permitted on day of event.
